Massage by the Principal

His Excellency, the president of Sri Lanka Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksha rendered a greate service to the Hambantota district. Thus he was very as the youngest Member of Parliament during that time. Since then, he has been dedicating his time for the betterment of the young generation in the country.
So called Ruhunu Vijayaba College came into exit as a result of his great efforts to improve the talents of pupils. It was a dream of people came true. I must convey my heartiest gratitude to his Excellency, the president for his philanthropy.
Next, I must be thankful to the non-governmental organization, PLAN Sri Lanka, for their total financial support to complete this gigantic project.
It is my duty to honor the Minister of Education, honorable Susil Premajayantha Munasingha, the minister of education service, honorable Nirmala Kothalawala, and the chief minister of the southern province, honorable, Shan wijayalal for their continuous support for the well-being of the school.
Next I convey my heartiest honor to the Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation, Irrigation and Water management, honorable Chamal Rajapaksha, Senior Adviser to the president, honorable Basil Rajapaksha, and leader of the house of the southern provincial council honorable Somawansa Kodagoda for their guidance to pave the way for the progress of the school.
I am proud to say that my academic staff is always with me to bring about young generation with a pride, knowledge, good attitudes and values for a better tomorrow.
I earnestly hope that you all pay your keen attention for the progress of the school.
